Getting Started with Depost AI

Depost AI is your friendly assistant for better LinkedIn posts, quick, easy, and stress-free.


Whether you're a solo creator, founder, marketer, or job seeker, Depost AI helps you write, post, and engage better on LinkedIn (and beyond) with less effort and more strategy.

Here is your step-by-step guide to getting started

Step 1: Sign Up & Log In

  1. Visit https://app.depost.ai

  2. Click “Sign Up” if you are new, or “Log In” if you have already created an account.

  3. You can sign up via email, Google, or LinkedIn for quick access

Step 2: Complete the Quick Onboarding

Once you are in, you will be welcomed with a short onboarding form to personalize your experience.

What you’ll be asked:

  • Your role (e.g., Marketer, Creator, Freelancer)

  • Your content goals (e.g., Storytelling, Virality, Brand Awareness)

  • Target audience (e.g., Customers, Tech Enthusiasts, Executives)

  • Your tone of voice (e.g., Professional, Casual, Inspirational)

  • How did you hear about Depost AI

  • Optional: Add your LinkedIn profile link

Why this matters: Your answers help Depost AI understand your style, so it creates content that fits you from the very start.

Once done, click “Finish onboarding,” and you’ll be taken to your main dashboard.

Step 3: Explore the Dashboard

Depost AI Dashboard is where the magic begins. You will see:

  • Create Post – where you write and generate your content

  • Inspiration – a feed of trending ideas and prompts

  • Bookmarks – your saved content from LinkedIn, X, Reddit

  • Ideas – to create personalized ideas or ideas from a URL

  • Settings – to customize your experience

    Everything is laid out to keep content creation super simple.


Step 4: Customize Your Settings

Head over to the Settings tab in the sidebar to fine-tune your workspace experience.

Here’s what you can do:

  • LinkedIn Accounts: Add or manage LinkedIn accounts connected to Depost AI

  • Language: Choose your preferred language for the interface (All languages supported)

  • Custom CTAs: Set up reusable call-to-actions to match your personal or brand style

  • Preferences: Adjust your content preferences like tone, content goals, and target audience.

This is where you set up Depost AI to work the way you want.

Step 5: Start Creating a Post

  • Generate from Text – paste your ideas or bullet points

  • Generate from URL – paste a link, and get a post out of it

  • Write Your Own – use AI formatting and tone tools on your manual drafts

Each one helps you move from a rough idea to a polished LinkedIn post in seconds.

Step 6: Try the “Inspiration” Tab

Feeling stuck?

Head to the Inspiration tab to discover:

  • Post ideas based on trends

  • Format-ready hooks, stories, and carousels

  • Snippets you can regenerate in your voice

Step 7: Bookmark Content While Browsing

Then:

  1. Go to LinkedIn, X, or Reddit

  2. Click on the Depost AI icon or hover over a post

  3. Hit “Bookmark this post.”

  4. It’ll appear inside your Bookmarks tab for future reuse or repurposing

Step 8: Format, Tone & Hashtags

Inside the post editor:

  • Choose your Tone: professional, casual, inspirational, etc.

  • Add emojis, hashtags.

  • Use the Format Your Content section to optimize layout and spacing

  • Decide your target audience

  • Adjust your word limit, etc.

Everything is customizable, so your post sounds like you.

Step 9: Smart Comment & Reply Suggestions

Depost AI gives you on-the-spot suggestions for:

  • Thoughtful comments on posts in your feed

  • Personalized replies to comments on your posts and in your DMs
