How to Schedule a Post in Depost AI

Post polished and ready, but want to share it later? Use the Depost AI scheduler to publish at just the right time.

Instead of saving drafts elsewhere or setting reminders, you can schedule right inside the editor and let the AI handle the rest.

Here’s how it works step by step:

Step 1: Finalize Your Post

Before scheduling, make sure your post is edited and previewed. You can:

  • Format the text

  • Add emojis or list styles

  • Attach CTAs, visuals, or videos

  • See how it looks in both mobile & desktop previews

Once happy with the content, move to the bottom of the editor.

Step 2: Click the Schedule Icon

You will see a calendar and clock icon next to the “Publish” button; this is the Schedule Post button (although it is already written there, but still..).

Click it to open the scheduler panel.

Step 3: Choose Date and Time

A calendar and time picker will appear.
Simply:

  • Select the date from the calendar

  • Set the exact time (hour + minute) for the post to go live

  • Make sure the time zone reflects your audience

Pro Tip: For LinkedIn, the optimal posting times are often 9–11 a.m. and 3–5 p.m. on weekdays.

Step 5: Hit “Confirm”

Once everything’s set:

  • Ensure you have selected your LinkedIn account, which is displayed above your post title at the top. This option is designed for users managing multiple LinkedIn accounts, but even if you are using just one, you still need to select it. Once done,

  • Click “Confirm"

  • You will see a confirmation that it has been successfully scheduled

  • It will now appear in your Scheduled Posts list inside the “Posts” tab

No need to log back in or track reminders, Depost AI will publish it exactly on time.

Step 6: Where to Find Your Scheduled Posts

To view, edit, or manage scheduled posts:

  1. Go to the Posts tab from the left sidebar

  2. Click the dropdown next to the clock icon labeled “Scheduled”

  3. Locate your post in the list

  4. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the post for more actions

From here, you can:

  • Open, edit, reschedule, or update the time of any scheduled post

  • Duplicate it

  • Repurpose it

  • Mark it as published, or

  • Delete it if you change your mind

Smart Tip: Batch Schedule for the Week

Use Depost AI to schedule multiple posts in advance, so you stay consistent, even on busy days.
